The Ola S1 Air features a dual-tone paint scheme and a rather simple design for the swingarm. While all of these changes have been made to save on cost, the S1 Air also gets steel wheels and tubular grab rails.
The hub-mounted motor on the Ola S1 Air is rated for an output of 4.5 kW, while it gets a 2.5 kWh battery pack. The claimed range stands at 100 km, and the S1 Air can do a 0-40 kmph sprint in just 4.3 seconds.
Even though the Ola S1 is priced rather competitively, it still gets the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that will come with Move OS3 from the factory.
Unlike the Ola S1 and S1 Pro, the banana-style footboard is not used here. A flat floorboard is what the Ola S1 Air gets to boast more practicality.
To keep the costs in check, the Ola S1 Air gets a conventional telescopic fork-type front suspension. The expensive avatars of the scooter - S1 and S1 Pro, get a single-sided front suspension. Also, brakes on both ends of the S1 Air are drum type.
The Ola S1 Air gets an under-seat trunk volume of 34 litres, which can further be used in a more convenient way with the use of accessories.
