PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate Terminal 2 of the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on November 11 during his visit to Andhra Pradesh. The new terminal is built at a cost of around Rs 5000 crores and is designed as a tribute to the Garden city of Bengaluru; with “walk in the garden” theme. The Bengaluru International Airport is one of the most awarded airports in the country. PM Modi will also flag off Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express train, that will run through Benglauru and will be the first Vande Bharat train to run in South India.
Benglauru's Kempegowda International Airport is all set for an expansion with the newly constructed Terminal 2.

With the inauguration of T2, passenger handling capacity as well as counters for check-in and immigration will double.
Bengaluru International Airport will be able to handle around 5-6 crore passengers annually from 2.5 crore currently.
The Termina 2 is designed as a tribute to the Garden city of Bengaluru; passenger experience is meant to be a “walk in the garden”.
PM Modi will also flag off the fifth Vande Bharat Express during his Bengaluru visit, which will be the South India's first Vande Bharat train.
Benglauru International Airport is among the best designed and busiest airports in India along with Delhi and Mumbai Airports.
