Argentina football legend Diego Maradona passed away at the age of 60 after suffering a massive heart attack on Wednesday. Maradona's untimely demise came just two weeks after he was released from hospital following a brain surgery.
Argentinian president Alberto Fernandez has declared three day of mourning in the country for Maradona's death.During this time, the body of the football great will lie in state at the Casa Rosada-- the seat of the Argentina government.
Maradona is survived by five children including Italian footballer Diego Sinagra and his only wife Claudia Villafane, to whom he was married from 1984 to 2004. Let us take a look at the football legend roller-coaster life in pictures:
Maradona is fondly remembered for guiding Argentina to FIFA World Cup glory in 1986 with a stellar performance that captivated the hearts of millions of fans across the globe. He led his national side to a 3-2 win over West Germany in the final of the showpiece event at the Atzeca Stadium in Mexico City.
The football great brought up arguably two of the most famous goals in the history of the game during the quarter-final clash of the same event against England.

Following his retirment from the game, Diego Maradona's health started to deteriorate because of his addiction to alcohol and drugs.
