Team India and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Shardul Thakur got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Mittali Parulkar in a private ceremony in Mumbai on Monday (November 29) that was attended by close friends and relatives of the couple.
Notably, Shardul Thakur is currently on a break from international cricket after featuring in India's campaign at the recent T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates last month.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Thakur is likely to get married to Mittali Parulkar after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 which will be held in Australia.

The engagement function for the couple was organized at the Mumbai Cricket Association's recreation center.
Shardul Thakur's fiancee Mittali Parulkar runs a start-up company known as All The Bakes in Thane.
As per reports, 75 people were invited as guests to attend the function and all of these guests were either close friends of the couple or are a part of their families.
Shardul Thakur has represented India in all three formats of the game, featuring in four Tests, 15 ODIs and 24 T20Is. The 30-year-old has earned a name for himself with his lower-order batting, especially in Tests, with the fifties in Australia and England.
Amongst those who attended Thakur's engagement on Monday were India T20I captain Rohit Sharma, ex-India player Abhishek Nayar and Mumbai players Aditya Tare and Siddhesh Lad.
