Despite playing for the same club and both being blessed with good looks, Alisha and Douglas didn’t meet during a photoshoot for Aston Villa merchandise. Instead, they enjoy relaxing and embracing Birmingham's nightlife when they're not working hard on the pitch. One evening, in a popular Midlands hotspot, their paths finally crossed.

In 2021, a smitten Alisha took to Instagram to share her exciting news with her then five million followers (a number that has since grown to 16 million). She uploaded a boomerang on her Instagram story, capturing an intimate moment with Douglas. He reciprocated by reposting the clip on his own story, adding the caption: "Princess."

Despite reports suggesting their relationship might be a distraction on the pitch, this proved to be nonsense. Both continued to thrive, supported and happy with one another.

The Switzerland international joined her partner Douglas Luiz in Turin on June 30.

Juventus signed Douglas Luiz for £50m from Aston Villa. The Brazilian midfielder has played 200 games for Villa assisting 22 times and scoring 24 goals.

Alisha has left the Women's Super League and joined Juventus after seven season in England. She made 74 appearances and scored 14 goals for her previous team.
