Two-time World Champion and a legendary name in the Indian cricket fraternity, Gautam Gambhir is known for his aggressive and blunt remarks on and off the field. However, sometimes the former India opener's way of reacting to things has resulted in incidents that looked very ugly on a cricket field.
Another Pakistan cricketer in the list and it is the same story with him as well. Gambhir and Kamran Akmal shared plenty of heated words until India captain MS Dhoni seperated the duo.
An incident which has maybe is still not sorted out between the two parties involed, one of the biggest controversies took place when Kohli and Gambhir were involved in a heated arguement during an IPL game in 2013 between KKR and RCB.
It was during an ODI match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan when Gautam Gambhir was involved in a heated spat with Shahid Afridi who collided with him while running a quick single.
During the match, Kohli and Afghanistan bowler Naveen-u-Haq got into a verbal altercation that intensified after the game. In the middle of the traditional handshake, Naveen pushed Kohli's hand away, clearly in pain. Gambhir got into a furious confrontation with the other two players shortly after, and they were all punished for violating the IPL Code of Conduct.
Years after retiring from cricket, Sreesanth and Gambhir were seen in a heated altercation during an Eliminator match between LLC teams Indian Capitals and Gujarat Giants. The umpires had to intervene and separate the two players.
