Glenn Maxwell got married to India-born Vini Raman in traditional Indian style this year in March in Chennai. Maxwell and took to Instagram to share several photos from their mehendi ceremony. The couple also got married in a Christian wedding ceremony on March 18. Their wedding revelries comprised traditional haldi and mehendi ceremonies as well. And we’re pretty impressed with Glenn’s desi groom avatar. 

The marriage created controversy as this was the first time that a star Indian athlete married a Pakistani cricketer. A female Indian athlete getting hitched to male cricketer from across the border was sure to get attention. They tied in the knot in 2010 and the couple now reside in Dubai and have a child. 

Shaun Tait dated Indian model Mashoom Singha for about four years before the couple decided to tie the knot. They met, as per reports, while on a vacation in Paris and immediately fell in love with each other. Mashoom belongs to Mumbai while Tait lives in Adelaide and their love story revolved between two cities. 

Indian batting opener married Australian-Indian Ayesha Mukherjee. Reports tell us that it was Harbhajan Singh who acted as a mediator between them. They got married in 2012 but got separated in 2021. 

The Pakistan left-arm fast bowler is married to Nargis, who is a British-Bengali. She was a lawyer to Amir when the spot fixing trial was on in UK back in 2010. The couple then decided to marry each other after spending a lot of time with each other.

The Sri Lankan spin legend is married to Madhimalar who is a chennai-born girl. She is the daughter of Dr S Ramamurthy, who owns Malar Hospitals in Tamil Nadu's capital.
