Star Indian cricketer R Ashwin is celebrating his 36th birthday today. He was born on September 17 in 1986 in Chennai, the Tamil Nadu capital which is still his home. He is one of the greatest the country as produced in the sport and still goes strong. He recently made another comeback to the T20Is and will feature for India at the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. On his birthday, let's talk about his records, some lesser-known ones. Ashwin's batting is very less talked about. He has scored 3,799 international runs and may cross the 4,000 run mark soon. Not many know but he had started his cricketing career opening the batting.
