Punjab Kings this year have tried to up their social media game and in order to do so, they have roped in Shashi Dhiman, a stand up comedian from Punjab, to make fun videos with the players.
While Shashi is busy trying to get as much info out from the players, many fans don't know much about her at first place.
Here's all you need to know about this Punjab Kings' 'mystery girl':
Shashi Dhiman is a stand up comedian by profession and has been doing comedy for more than four years now.
After following her passion in Chandigarh's comedy circuit, she moved to Mumbai in 2020 and slowly but steadily she is finding her ground in the Maximum City.
In an interview to DeadAnt, she revealed that her comedy is staying true to herself. She says that she speaks the same way on stage as she does in her real life.
Shashi does prepare for her shows but at times, she just goes with the flow.
Shashi believes in no trying and testing her jokes on anyone before she goes on stage. She feels interacting with the audience gets you the biggest feedback.
Shashi has chosen to follow her heart and become an artist but she is a pharma-scientist as well. However, she chose a different career path after competing her studies.
One reason why Shashi took up stand up comedy is because she gets bored of her job in day time, and doing something creative on stage in evening makes her come alive.
She likes Abhishek Upmanyu, Aakash Gupta and Prashasti Singh in India and internationally, she is a huge fan of Whitney Cummings and Bill Burr.
This year Shashi became a part of Punjab Kings' IPL team, not as a player of course, but as an anchor, and she can be seen roaming around with the team throughout this season.
Shashi can been seen during PBKS nets and travels, and whatever time she gets from the players, she churns out funny content.
