With the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 all set to begin from April 9 will see teams again fight for the coveted trophy. Among all these teams, there is one franchise that is desperately waiting for the trophy to come home - Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The Virat Kohli-led side will be one of the teams to have a new look in the 14th edition of the IPL season. With some big names having been released and even added, RCB will be looking to go all the way.
The red and gold franchise released Australia limited-overs captain Aaron Finch while Chris Morris, Moeen Ali and Dale Steyn's contracts with the franchise came to an end. Umesh Yadav is one of the released Indian players.

A 28-year-old leg-spinner from New South Wales, Adam Zampa was picked as a replacement for countryman Kane Richardson ahead of the 2020 edition of the league.
In the 13th edition, the bowler played only three matches and took 2 wickets giving off 92 runs with his best bowling figures being 1/12.
Washington Sundar created a wave in the national Test side, making sure his place is fixed. When it comes to IPL, in the 2020 season, off the 15 matches, the all-rounder scored 111 runs his highest being 30. He slammed 2 sixes and 10 fours.
As far as bowling is concerned, the young lad has taken 8 wickets giving off 298 runs and his best bowling figures being 2/16.

Mohammed Siraj has worked his way up into the national team rather quickly due to his performances in the IPL and Ranji Trophy.
In the 2020 edition, in the 9 matches that he played, he gave off 236 runs taking 11 wickets with his best bowling figures being 3/8.
Shahbaz Ahmed from Bengal was picked by the RCB ahead of the 2020 edition. He played just 2 matches and took two wickets giving off 44 runs.
His best bowling figures were 2/26.
Navdeep Saini is one of the brightest fast bowling prospects in India as he can comfortably clock in excess of 140 kmph on the speed gun.
In the 2020 edition, Saini played 13 matches and took 6 wickets giving off 379 runs. His best bowling figures are 2/25.
IPL 2020's new kid on the block - Devdutt Padikkal - had got all heads turning. The 18-year old who bats in the top order for RCB scored 473 runs in all the 15 matches that he played.
His highest score was 74 and has made sure to cross the 50-run mark on five occasions. Padikkal has slammed 8 sixes and 51 fours.
Going to start the new season with a new team, Glenn Maxwell has been part of the IPL for a long long time. In 2020, Maxwell played for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP - now Punjab Kings).
In the 13 matches that he played in 2020, the all-rounder scored 108 runs with his highest being 32. He did not smash a single six and hit 9 fours.
As for his bowling, he took just three wickets giving off 169 runs and his best figures being 1/10.
The Indian cricket team's captain, popularly known as the 'Run Machine', Virat Kohli, in the year 2020 scored 466 runs in 15 matches with his highest score being 90*.
He scored three '50s while slamming 11 sixes and 23 fours. The skipper will be looking to take the side across the line.

AB de Villiers is also known as the 'Mr 360' possesses hard-hitting skills, more than a decent wicket-keeper and an agile fielder. For RCB in 2020, de Villiers in 15 matches scored 454 with his highest being 73*.
The man has scored five 50's and smashed 23 sixes and 33 fours.
