A Delhi boy was recruited by his hometown franchise Delhi Daredevils back in the time. In 2017, Rishabh Pant showcased his explosive batting skills for the team and soon made his debut for India later on.
Rishabh Pant's best performance in the IPL history so far, as he smacked 128 runs off just 63 deliveries with 15 boundaries and 7 sixes. Delhi got to good total of 187/5 with Pant's ton but it was not enough to stop SRH from winning as Shikhar Dhawan 92 (50) and Kane Williamson 83 (53) won the game for them with 9 wickets in hand.
Pant's second best knock in the IPL came in the 2017 when the Delhi Daredevils were chasing a huge total of 200 put up by the Gujarat Lions. Pant scored 97 off 43 balls smacking 6 boundaries and 9 maximums for his team. Later, Shreyas Iyer and Corey Anderson guided DD home to victory.
It is a memorable knock for the left-hander as Pant fired his quickest fifty against the Mumbai Indians in 2019. Pant scored 78 off just 27 balls smacking 7 fours and 7 sixes to guide Delhi to a total of 213/6.
This innings comes in Pant's top five performances with bat as he smacked RCB bowling attack for 85 runs off just 48 balls with 6 fours and 7 sixes. Delhi gave RCB a target of 175 which was chased brilliantly by prime AB de Villiers who was in blistering form that night scoring 90 runs off just 39 balls in reply.
Delhi were chasing a mountain of runs as CSK imposed 211 on the scoreboard after batting first. Pant scored 7 boundaries with 4 sixes to score 79 runs off 45 balls. However, Delhi lost the game by 13 runs.
