India’s veteran all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin hammered a century in the ongoing first Test between India and Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
This was Ashwin’s second hundred in Chennai which happens to be his home ground also. On the back of this hundred, Ashwin holds the fourth spot in the list of oldest Indian players to make a century.

Ravichandran Ashwin reached the feat by scoring a hundred, aged 38 years and two days old against Bangladesh in 2024.
