Ravindra Jadeja's family eagerly desired for him to settle down and marry soon. However, the renowned batsman wasn't inclined towards marriage and often brushed aside discussions about it. However, when he met Rivaba he changed his mind.
Rivaba is the daughter of Hardev Singh Solanki who's a businessman and Prafulla Solanki, an Indian Railways employee. Niece of Congress politician Hari Singh Solanki, Rivaba joined BJP in 2019. She was born in Gujarat, Rajkot.
Rivaba Jadeja is a politician currently representing BJP. She won from Janmanagar North constituency in the Gujarat Assembly Elections.
Jadeja's sister persuaded him to attend a party where he met his future wife. Initially hesitant, the cricketer found himself captivated by her beauty, sparking an instant connection between them. They quickly bonded and embarked on a relationship. After several years of dating, they became engaged on February 5, 2016, at Jaddu's Food Field, Jadeja's own restaurant.
The couple is blessed with a daughter named Nidhyana. The duo have started catching the spotlight since the IPL 2023 when Rivaba started visiting CSK games.
Despite being occupied with her election duties, Riva still finds time to support her husband at cricket stadiums. In an interview, she admitted to having minimal interest in the sport before marrying Jadeja. However, since tying the knot, she ensures she doesn't miss a single game, wholeheartedly cheering for her husband.
Jadeja and Rivaba got married on 17 April. The royal wedding was a private ceremony with only close friends and family.
