He reached his century in just 35 balls, setting the record for the fastest T20I century by an Indian. Rohit, who has the most centuries in T20I cricket and is among the top run-scorers in T20Is, hit 12 fours and 10 sixes that night. India won the match by 88 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav has been outstanding since his international debut against England in March 2021. He finished 2022 as the top run-scorer in T20Is and continued his great form with a 45-ball century in the final T20I of the Sri Lanka tour of India in 2023, breaking several records with his 51-ball 112.
