Australia’s stylish opener Travis Head smashed the joint-fastest fifty in T20Is for his nation in the first game of the three-match series against Scotland on Wednesday, September 4 at the Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh.
The left-hander was in a scintillating form as he tormented the Scottish bowlers all around the park.
Head ended up making 80 runs off 25 balls with 12 fours and five sixes.
Head took just 17 balls to reach the milestone against Scotland on Wednesday, September 4.
Over the years, Travis has time and again showed that how reliable he is as an opener. Back during the 2023 World Cup, he was the one who single handedly won the game for his team against India in the summit clash.
Earlier, Head’s colleague Marcus Stoinis hammered a 17-ball fifty against Sri Lanka in Perth in 2022.
