Pathankot assembly election result 2017 LIVE

Pathankot: Punjab's border district Pathankot participated enthusiastically in Punjab assembly elections 2017.

The city of Pathankot is divided into two constituencies namely Pathankot and Bhoa (SC). The city of Pathankot constitutes one constituency while the district makes another.

The candidate representing SAD-BJP from Patiala constituency is Ashwani Sharma, while Rajkumar Mahajan and Amit Vij stand for AAP and INC respectively.

Overall in the state, a high voter turnout record of 77.37 per cent when voting was held on February 4.

Punjab Assembly Election results 2017 will be declared on February 11. Counting will begin at 8 am.
