Rajasthan: Class-II student of Kendriya Vidyalaya gang-raped in Barmer

New Delhi: A Class-II girl student in Rajasthan's Barmer was allegedly gang-raped by two sweepers near her school toilet on Thursday.

The six-year-old minor, reportedly a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Jalipa Cantt, has been admitted to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, both the sweepers have been taken into remand, reported the Hindustan Times.

According to SSP Barmer Gagandeep Singla, the girl complained of stomach pain to her parents, after which she was rushed to the hospital.

Following the incident, the district collector and police officials reached to school.

Barmer Police have initiated a probe into the matter.
