Kannada film producer arrested for molestation, thrashed by girl’s family

A Kannada movie producer has reportedly been arrested for molesting a girl on the pretext of offering a movie role.

Mumbai: Kannada movie producer Viresh has reportedly been arrested for molesting a girl.

According to a report in CNN News 18, the girl has accused the filmmaker of inviting her to his home on the pretext of giving her a role in a movie and then sexually abusing her.

The girl escaped from the spot and was able to lock him up in the room.  He was subsequently beaten up by the victim’s family, reports suggest.

The report also suggests that the entire incident was recorded on a phone camera and the same has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
