Rajinikanth's '2.0' to soon wrap up shoot!

New Delhi: Megastar Rajinikanth's next big project titled '2.0' is already a newsmaker and rightly so. The film is helmed by maverick director Shankar Shanmugham and happens to be a science fiction drama.

'2.0' happens to be a spiritual successor to the superhit 2010 blockbuster 'Enthiran' (Tamil). It has an interesting star cast with Rajinikanth in the lead, reprising his previous role. This time Akshay Kumar will be seen sharing the screen space with the Thalaiva and that too for the very first time. Also, Amy Jackson will play the female lead in the film.

Director Shankar recently took to Twitter and shared a picture with his team, hinting at a shoot wrap up soon. He tweeted:

The film will be releasing simultaneously in three languages Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It is scheduled to hit the screens on October 18, 2017.
