New Delhi: Four years and still going strong, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have beaten all odds to stick together. Their love blossomed when Patralekhaa was cast opposite the 'Newton' actor in Hansal Mehta's 'Citylights' in 2014. Since then this cute couple has never shied away from hiding their romance from the world.
This being a wedding season in Bollywood with rumours of Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh and Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja tying the knot this year doing the rounds, the fans now want to see Rajkummar and Patralekhaa walk down the aisle. But the actress has no plans to take the plunge anytime soon. In an interview with Mid-Day, the actress said, "I don't see myself getting married for the next six to seven years. We both have too much to achieve. Our marriage, when it happens, will be beautiful. We will enjoy a two-month-long honeymoon and see the world."
She further added that her family doesn't want her to get married soon. She revealed,"My father always told me that marriage isn't a prerogative. I'd see friends tying the knot at 21, but my family never put that pressure. 'Don't get married' was a family diktat."
After achieving humungous success in 2017 with 'Newton' and 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' hitting the bull's eye, Rajkummar is now eyeing a better 2018 with poignant films like 'Omerta', 'Fanne Khan' and 'Stree' in his kitty. He would be seen alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor in 'Fanne Khan' and is playing the lead in 'Stree' opposite Shraddha Kapoor. While Patralekhaa would be next seen in Abhay Deol's 'Nanu Ki Jaanu' which is up for release on April 6, 2018.
