Chaitra Navaratri 2017: Day 7 - Destroy ignorance by worshipping Maa Kalaratri

On Saptami, which is the seventh day of Navaratri, Maa Kalaratri, who is believed to be the most violent forms of Devi Durga, is worshipped.

She is believed to be the destroyer of all demoniacal powers, i.e., kaal.

What does Maa Kalaratri do?

Maa Kalaratri destroys ignorance and removes darkness.

She reminds us about the fact that sorrow, pain, destruction, decay and death are inevitable and one can’t escape them.
