The first Ekadashi that falls after Chaitra Navratri and Rama Navmi is referred to as Kamada Ekadashi. It is also known as Chaitra Shukla Paksha Ekadashi.

Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this Ekadashi is of great significance because it has the power to forgive you of all your sins if you truly regret your misdeeds.

By observing vrat or fasting on this day with true devotion and repentance, people can get rid of their sins.

According to Drikpanchang, Ekadashi begins at 03:43 am on March 27 and ends at 01:31 am on March 28.

On 28th, Parana Time starts at 06:59 to 08:46

Parana Day Hari Vasara ends at 06:59 am. So you must break you fast only after the Hari Vasara ends.

How to observe Kamada Ekadashi vrat:

Rise early and take bath. Wear fresh clothes and light an oil lamp. Also light incense sticks. Then offer milk, flowers, fruits, betel nut and leaf and Panchamrit to Lord Vishnu. Read the Satya Narayan Katha and chant the name of the Lord. On the following day, offer food to a Brahmin and then break your fast.

By worshipping Lord Vishnu on this day, one can fulfil all his/her desires. Moreover, one can attain Moksha after death.
