New Delhi: Indian Test captain Virat Kohli's approval ratings got accentuated further with former skipper Kris Srikkanth hailing his "adaptability skills" on Tuesday.
"Adaptability skills which Virat has are fantastic. You see Virat Kohli's game approach, he adapts beautifully in all the three formats. As a cricketer if you want to be a complete cricketer, you need adaptability skills and that is what cricket teaches you," Srikanth said.
Virat, 27, has emerged as one of the best batsmen in all formats of the game. The right-handed Delhi batsman has already registered 11 and 25 Test and One-Day International centuries, and already surpassed some of the greats of the game as scorer.
Besides the adaptability part, Srikkanth also hailed Kohli's "never-give up attitude", which the former chairman of selectors called "Virat's style".
"He does not give up and fights from the front. That is Virat's style," Srikkanth added.
Kohli will once again play that proverbial 'match-winner' role as India bid to win the inaugural Asia Twenty20 Cup in Bangladesh.
