New Delhi: With key players back in the side, Sri Lanka would like to open their Asia Cup campaign on a winning note when they face United Arab Emirates on Thursday.

Sri Lankan side is looking like a formidable force as skipper Lasith Malinga and Angelo Mathews have joined the team after nursing their injuries. The duo missed the recently concluded three-match T20I series against India, which Lanka lost 1-2.

On the other end, for UAE, Asia Cup is an opportunity to impress the cricket world by playing competitive cricket against the major sub-continent teams.

UAE have made it this far in the tourney by defeating Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Oman in the qualifying tournament.
