New Delhi: Indian ODI vice-captain Virat Kohli continues to pummel the Aussies, both with the willow and words in the ongoing five-match series. (India vs Australia: Full Coverage)
Kohli, who slammed his 25th ODI ton in the 4th ODI, continued to exchange words with James Faulkner, after the latter instigated a war of words with the stylish right-hander during the 3rd ODI.
When Faulkner tried to disrupt Kohli's momentum during the 3rd ODI, the Delhi batsman asked the Aussie all-rounder not to waste his energy as he had smashed him enough during his career.
Kohli added to Faulkner's misery on Wednesday, when he asked the Aussie if he was “fast asleep” after failing to hit the stumps as he stole a single.
At Canberra, Kohli also tonked Faulkner for four boundaries and a six thus scoring 29 runs off 16 balls which the left-armer bowled to him.
Unfortunately, Kohli's second consecutive ton went in vain as Australia won the 4th ODI by 25 runs.
