New Delhi: New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum played his last international match against Australia on Wednesday.
Though, his side lost the Test match and with that the series as well, McCullum still managed to make his farewell a memorable one by slamming the fastest Test ton in the history of the game, surpassing the record of West Indian great Viv Richards.
The swashbuckling McCullum’s whrilwind knock came in the first innings, when he reached the three-figure mark in mere 54 balls to mesmerise his fans.
As the diminutive batsman's illustrous international career came to an end, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar can't restrain himself from tweeting - 'Enjoyed watching you'.
Head held high you walk into retirement, Baz. Congrats on the fantastic career. Ever on the front foot to entertain. Enjoyed watching you!
