New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman on Sunday hailed the legendary duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne for conceptualising the Cricket All-Stars tournament.

Laxman, who played in all three matches for Tendulkar-led Sachin's Blasters, also thanked the crowd for their response to the star-studded tournament.



Warne's Warriors defeated Sachin's Blasters by 4 wickets in the third T20 match played at Los Angeles to seal series 3-0.


Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, who played crucial knocks in all three matches, was adjudged the Man of the Series.


Spectators turned up in big numbers to support their cricketing heroes and the tournament is likely to return next year.
