New Delhi: Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh on Tuesday came in support of Bollywood's much awaited movie 'Udta Punjab'
The upcoming film has come under scanner since the release of its trailer. In fact, many famous personalities of India have demanded to ban the movie.
Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) too suggested the makers to remove 'Punjab' from the movie title.
Despite all the controversies, Turbanator, who himself hails from Punjab, openly came in support of the movie, directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
Bhajji took to micro-blogging site Twitter and asked: 'UdtaPunjab showing rightly whats happening in punjab what's wrong with it then? We want our punjab drug free state'
Udta Punjab, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh is scheduled for release on 17 June 2016.
