New Delhi: England cricket team outcast Kevin Pietersen feels the national team's T20I skipper Eoin Morgan has got to be the side's game changer in the ICC World Twenty20 in India.
Morgan is highly experienced and has played a lot of cricket in the Indian Premier League. Pietersen feels he is used to the conditions and that is vital.
“I think England’s game changer at the World Cup has to be Eoin Morgan. He is captain and has played a lot of IPL cricket. He is used to the conditions, and with his experience batting at number four, he has got to be the game changer,” Pietersen said to the Telegraph.
Meanwhile, Kevin Pietersen does not fancy England’s chances of qualifying in the semi-finals of the ICC World T20 2016.
England had earlier clinched the T20 World Cup in 2010.
The Morgan-led side suffered a 2-0 drubbing in a recently concluded T20 series against South Africa.
England will be playing against New Zealand in a warm-up encounter on Saturday, March 12.
