New Delhi: The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) on Friday announced squads for ICC World Twenty20 as well as upcoming Asia Cup 2016.
There weren't many surprises as the Sandeep Patil-led committtee, more or less retained the same squad that played three-match T20I series against Australia recently.
The only new face in the side was left-arm spinner Pawan Negi, while pacer Umesh Yadav and hero from India's 5th ODI against Australia Manish Pandey failed to make the cut.
BCCI secretary announced the squad at a press conference:
Here is the complete 15-man squad:
MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinjkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehra, Pawan Negi, Mohammed Shami
