New Delhi: South African batsman AB de Villiers was on song against Afghanistan in a Super 10 Group 1 match of the ICC World Twenty20 on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
In the 17th over of the South African innings, the Superman took the Afghan bowler Rashid Khan to the cleaners as he collected 29 runs from it.
He hit the leg-spinner for a 6, 4, 6, 6, 6, 1 and in between completed his half century as well.
Arguably the most dangerous batsman in the world in the limited-overs cricket, AB played a quick-fire knock of 64 off 29 balls, laced with four boundaries and five sixes to help his side put up a mammoth total of 209 in front of Afghanistan.
