New Delhi: Amidst rumours of his imminent retirement from international cricket, Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi on Friday said that he is yet make up his mind on it.
Afridi, 36, is probably leading his national team as Pakistan take on Australia in their last Super 10 match of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 today at Mohali.
"I haven't taken any decision [on the retirement]. I will do it in front of my nation," Afridi said during the toss at Mohali.
A defeat will eliminate the 2009 champions from the marquee tournament, having already lost two matches against New Zealand and India in the five team Group 2. Their only win came against Bangladesh.
Afridi have done flip-flops on his retirement in recent past. He had previously said that the match against Australia could be his last, if at all they failed to make the knock-outs.
Besides, he was criticized after Pakistan's poor form in the competition.
Pakistan Cricket Board chief has already made it clear that he will be removed as captain post the World T20.
Afridi made his international debut against Kenya in 1996.
