New Delhi: Batting great Sachin Tendulkar consoled the Indian cricket team which lost the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 semi-final to West Indies in Mumbai on Thursday.
India suffered a heart-breaking seven-wicket lost to the Windies, despite posting a good total of 182 runs at the Wankhede Stadium.
After the match, Tendulkar tweeted "Tough luck boys. It was a good match and well fought!"

The legend himself was in the stands as flown-in Lendl Simmons, in company of Andre Russell, capitulated an otherwise disciplined Indian bowling attack to script the shock result with two balls to spare.
Tendulkar also congratulated the winning team and wished both the finalists ahead of the Sunday's final at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
"Best wishes to West Indies and England for the finals," he wrote.
On Wednesday, England beat New Zealand by seven wickets in Delhi to make the final.
