New Delhi: Former West Indies skipper Brian Lara on Sunday showed a different side of his personality when Carlos Brathwaite hit the winning runs to win his side their second WT20 crown.
Unlike some of the Windies lads, the legendary Lara is a rather reserved person who usually kept his emotions to himself during his playing days.
After Darren Sammy’s side turned the tables on England in the final over of the match, Lara could not contain his excitement.
The batting great, present in a Pakistan TV studio as an expert, performed his version of the ‘Champion’ dance when Windies won the match.
What made Lara’s celebration all the more special, was the child-like innocence on his face.
