New Delhi: Young English batsman Haseeb Hameed, who drew massive attention and affection from cricket fans not just in England but all across the globe, expressed his gratitude towards Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli, who had a long chat with him after completion of the 3rd Test between India and England at Mohali.

Haseeb, who had to be ruled out of the remaining two Tests, after he broke his finger in the 3rd Test. The 19-year-old, who opens the innings, came out at No. 8 in 2nd innings of Mohali Test and scored an unbeaten half-century.
Hameed's tweet on Virat Kohli and his experience in India would have won hearts of many Indians but what might come out as an overwhelming news is that the young Englishman has always been in awe of the Indian captain.
In January 2016, Haseeb also ran a poll on his official twitter account asking if Kohli is the best ODI batsman of all time.

Virat, on the other hand, branded Haseeb as a bright prospect for England who looks destined to become a star in future.
