New Delhi: India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's food-joint, Jaddu’s Food Field has reportedly been demolished on Thursday when Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) conducted a drive against all illegal constructions in the city.
Jadeja, 28, owned the restaurant and some part of the set-up was found to be in the zone of illegal construction. The RMC's drive reportedly razed down a part of the food joint.
It's reported that store room and the kitchen of the Kalavad Road-based restaurant were in the illegal zone.
“A team of RMC pulled down a store room and a kitchen constructed illegally by the management of Jaddu’s Food Field restaurant located on Kalavad Road," the Town Planning Officer MD Sagathiya told TOI.
Further reports claimed that in the Mavdi Road and Kalavad Road areas, as many as 32 houses were razed and illegal portions of commercial buildings were pulled down during the drive.
Jadeja is currently in Chennai with the Indian Test team. India will play the fifth and final Test against England at Chepauk, starting tomorrow.
