Chennai: In the absence of Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane, Karun Nair grabbed the opportunity with both hands by hitting his maiden double century against England. The right-hander, who was unbeaten at stumps on Day 3, continued from where he left to reach the double ton on Day 4.
Nair, who has been one of India's most consistent players in first class cricket, drove Keaton Jennings through the off-side for a boundary to reach his double ton.
