New Delhi: India's limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Sunday became the first wicket-keeper in the history of cricket (including Tests, ODIs and T20Is) to inflict 150 stumpings, when he dismissed New Zealand's Ross Taylor in 3rd match of the series at Mohali.
With 444 matches under his belt, MS Dhoni now has 151 international stumpings to his name, having subsequently removed Luke Ronchi with his lightning quick work behind the stumps.

Impressed by the Indian skipper artistic work, match commentator Ravi Shastri described the incident as, “Hands faster than a pickpocket”, “fastest hands in the east”.
It was Amit Mishra bowling to Ronchi when he lured the latter to go for a drive, but in doing so, he also dragged his back foot out of the crease momentarily.
It was as if Dhoni's hands were desperately waiting for this moment and as soon as the balls touched wicket keeping gloves, the bails were off in a flash and the umpire had to go upstairs to review whether New Zealand had lost their 5th wicket or not.
The decision came in India's favour and Ronchi departed to the dressing room as Kiwis were 5 down on 161.
Earlier, it was on Mishra's bowling only that Dhoni had removed Taylor with his neat work behind the stumps - 150th stumping – and it seems like the Kiwis will have to be wary of this combination in the remaining two Test matches.
India currently lead the 5-match series 2-1 with 4th and 5th ODI to be played in Ranchi and Vishakhapatnam respectively.
