New Delhi: Justice (Retd) Mukul Mudgal, who is overseeing the organisation of India-South Africa fourth Test match in Delhi, might summit a report to Delhi High Court (HC) after the completion of the event.
In a report published in Times of India, Mudgal is planning to inform the court about the procedures adopted while organising the entire event.
"He (Mudgal) thought this would be the proper thing to do since he is conducting the Test match under the court's orders.
"We have invited bids and handed out contracts in record time. Some new players, like the ones handling the CCTV installations, have come into the fray. We have tried to be transparent and pocket-friendly. But we also faced huge resistance from some Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) members, as was expected. It's a daily tussle," said a source of the newspaper.
Earlier Mudgal had termed his maiden experience of overseeing the organisation of a Test match as an "interesting experience" and jokingly said that "It's almost like my daughter's marriage”.
