New Delhi: It seems that Team India's limited-overs skipper MS Dhoni's Midas touch is a thing of the past. Nothing is working at the moment for India's most successful skipper. India are losing consistently under Dhoni's captaincy and to make things even worse, he is struggling with the willow as well.

With India yet to register a win against the visitors, Dhoni should take a gamble with uncapped all-rounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann against South Africa in the second ODI.

The Punjab youngster has impressed many with his superlative performances with bat and ball of late. Considering the fact that Stuart Binny hasn't performed as per the expectations thus far, Dhoni can give a chance to the 25-year-old to prove his credentials.

One factor that could work for Mann is that most of the South African players haven't seen much of him. So he can emerge out as a surprise package for the Saffers.

Being an off-spinner and a lower-order batsman, Mann can not only bowl ten overs but also give depth to Indian batting line-up. The uncapped player is also known as one of the best outfielders in India.

Mann earned the maiden call up in national team after his superlative all-round performances while playing for India A in unofficial matches recently.

Considering that the ICC World T20 is scheduled for next year in India, it would be an excellent opportunity for the all-rounder to impress the selectors and get noticed.
