Jordan has been roped in as a replacement for injured Mitchell Starc. Ahead of the tournament, the Australian's injury had come as a huge blow for RCB, considering they don't boast of a strong bowling line-up.

Meanwhile, Jordan impressed everybody with his accurate yorkers in the recently concluded ICC World Twenty20 and even in the final against West Indies, he gave his team a real chance of winning their second title by conceding just 8 runs in the penultimate over, hence giving Ben Stokes healthy 19 runs to defend in the final over.

The 27-year-old took to Twitter to share his excitement ahead of the first stint in the cash-rich tournament.

While RCB have the services of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Shane Watson in the batting department, Jordan will add a lot of strength to their depleted bowling line-up. Watson and Jordan can together bowl eight crucial overs for the franchise.
