New Delhi: After winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) title on Sunday, SunRisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner heaped praise on his seamers, especially Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman.
When the final match against Royal Challengers Bangalore came down to the wire, Warner once again showed trust in his premier bowlers, and threw the ball towards Bhuvi and Mustafizur to bowl the last four overs. And the bowlers didn't disappoint his skipper as they made sure that Hyderabad successfully defended their 208-run total.
"Obviously Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar) is in and out of the Indian team, but he is a world-class bowler. With the new ball as an opening batsman I would like to come up against him on a wicket like this because he sets the tone from ball one," Warner was quoted as saying by PTI.
Warner has utmost faith in Bhuvneshwar's abilities and passion for the game.
"I have got utmost faith in him (Bhuvneshwar) and the way he plays his cricket. He is passionate. He loves the game and, I always rely on him towards the end," added the Australian.
Warner was also feels that young Bangladeshi seamer Mustafizur and Bhuvi make a lethal bowling combination.
"Obviously, Mustafizur Rahman is a promising player for Bangladesh. It is a credit to him that he has played outstanding cricket along with Bhuvi. Hope he keeps fit and strong for future games," Warner said.
With 23 wickets in 17 games, Bhuvneshwar finished the season as the highest wicket-taker.
