New Delhi: Hitting sixes is fun. But on Sunday, Sunrisers Hyderabad's Ben Cutting hit possibly the biggest six of Indian Premier League history with a monstrous 117-metre long six against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final.
The Chinnaswamy stadium is certainly not the biggest in the world, but hitting the ball out the park is one thing. And that's what had happened during the final.
Shane Watson, bowling the final over, was hit for a four off the first ball. Then the second ball, a full toss, was lobbed with consummate ease over backward square leg, and out of the stadium.
Here's the video, thanks to the uploader:

It's worth reminding that during Sunriser's Qualifier 2 match against Gujarat Lions, Cutting produced a amazing stop at mid-wicket boundary with an impossible fielding effort, in the air.
