Johannesburg: Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has described his in-form leg-spinner Yasir Shah as a ' threat to every team,' but insisted that his batsmen must equally score on a consistent basis to topple buoyant England in the upcoming three-match series in the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan claimed a 3-0 win over England during their last series in 2012, thanks to the exploits of Saeed Ajmal and Abdul Rehman who shared 43 wickets between them and the captain is expecting to replicate the same this through the spin duo of Yasir and Zulfiqar Babar.
The 41-year-old said that Yasir and Babar have been outstanding in recent times, adding that the fast bowling department also have to play their roles by taking wickets with the new ball, Sport24 reported.
Yasir has emerged as the potent weapon in Pakistan's bowling arsenal, taking 24 wickets in their last series in Sri Lanka and climbing to number three in the Test rankings.
Pakistan will play the first Test against the Alastair Cook-led side in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
