New Delhi: Indian Test skipper MS Dhoni on Thursday hailed retiring speedster Zaheer Khan as the 'most clever fast bowler.'
Zaheer, who was the highest wicket-taker in ICC World Cup 2011 with 21 wickets, played a significant role throughout the series.
Dhoni, who became India's second captain after Kapil Dev to win the tournament, shared words of praise for the 37-year-old on Twitter.

Dhoni was not the only one to praise Zaheer's alertness as a pacer as batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar too took to Twitter and lauded the left-armer's ability to out-think the best of the batsmen.
One of the coolest pace bowlers I know. He was a bowler who could 'out think' the batsman most of the times. Always up for a challenge (1/2)

Zaheer drew curtains to his illustrious career earlier in the day after he issued a statement on Twitter bidding farewell to his beloved sport.
