New Delhi: There's something called Timed Out in cricket, which rules that if a batsman is not ready to play within three minutes of the previous batsman being out, he can be given out.

Of course, it's rarely used. But in a Test match during India's tour of South Africa in 2007, Rahul Dravid found himself without a batting partner for more than six minutes.
