New Delhi: South African batsman AB de Villiers is widely regarded as one of the most destructive batsmen in limited-overs cricket.
In an ODI match against West Indies at home, the wicketkeeper-batsman smashed the Caribbean bowlers to all parts of the ground as he slammed the fastest ODI ton.
AB reached the three-figure mark off just 31 balls, breaking Corey Anderson's previous record of fastest ODI ton ever, which came against West Indies in 2014 off 36 balls.
After Hashim Amla (153*) and Rile Rossouw (128) added a mammoth 247-run for the first wicket, AB came to the crease and stole their thunder with a mind-blowing knock.
AB's knock comprised 16 sixes and nine boundaries, which meant he scored 132 runs in just boundaries.
