New Delhi: Pakistan cricketer Imad Wasim refused to wear a Jamaica Tallawahs jersey due to a beer brand being the main sponsor on it.
This is not the first time such something like this has happened in the CPL. South African opener Hashim Amla and Pakistani-born Australian spinner Fawad Ahmed too wear unbranded jerseys keeping in line with their religious beliefs.
The left-arm spinner's manager Syed Noman Nazir took to Twitter to inform the fans and followers of the Wasim.
