Shoaib Malik dedicates comeback ton to mother, thanks Sania Mirza for support

Shoaib Malik was unbeaten on 124 on Day 1 of the 1st Test against England.

New Delhi: After he slammed a century against England post a comeback in Tests after 5 years, Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik dedicated the ton to his mother.

Malik, who was unbeaten on 124 on Day 1 of the first Test, took to Twitter to express his gratitude.

This one is for you Ammi Jaan, with all my love, respect, & blessings. I love you and working hard to make you proud. Wish Baba was here

The 33-year-old also thanked wife Sania Mirza for her support.

Apart from Malik, Mohammad Hafeez too played a significant knock of 98 runs while Younus Khan surpassed Javed Miandad as Pakistan's highest run-getter in Tests.

In another tweet, Malik had congratulated Younus on his feat.
