Ahead of final, Rahul Dravid plays Shah Rukh Khan`s `Yeh sattar minute` for Indian colts
Dravid is widely regarded as the ultimate role model for any young cricketer.
New Delhi: As the Indian colts assembled for the final team meeting ahead of the ICC U-19 World Cup final against the West India, coach Rahul Dravid had a little surprise for them.
According to a report in the Indian Express, the former India captain played Shah Rukh Khan's famous “Yeh sattar minute” video from the movie Chak De to fire his boys up.
In the iconic scene, the Bollywood superstar is seen telling the Indian women's hockey team to give it their all in the final because nobody can take those 70 minutes from their life.
Once that was done, Dravid told the boys that he would be delighted if they made it to India's Test side, scoring tons and taking five-wickets hauls at Lord's.
Ahead of the semis against Sri Lanka, he had shown Ishan Kishan's boys a montage of their best moments at the World Cup.
The U-19 boys are lucky to have someone like Rahul Dravid as their coach at such an important time in their professional life.
Apart from being a thorough gentleman, Dravid is widely regarded as the ultimate role model for any young cricketer.
